Alexa Sengstock, LSW
Therapist
I believe therapy is a space where self-compassion, self-discovery, and resilience can grow. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel heard, seen, and validated as they move toward healing and greater life satisfaction.
Alexa is a dedicated and compassionate clinician who supports adults, college students, and teens navigating challenges such as grief, stress, relationships, and trauma. Her approach is grounded in the belief that each person is unique and deserves a personalized path to healing, meeting clients where they are with empathy and understanding.
Alexa draws from a range of evidence-based techniques. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy to examine thought patterns, emotionally focused therapy to deepen emotional awareness, and somatic approaches to provide practical, body-based tools for managing stress and anxiety. She also incorporates attachment theory and places strong emphasis on helping clients establish healthy boundaries to foster more balanced and fulfilling lives.
Alexa understands that beginning therapy can feel uncertain, but taking that first step can lead to
meaningful change. Therapy empowers you to better understand yourself, build resilience, and take greater control of your life. There is strength in seeking support, freedom in taking control of your life, and power in choosing to begin a journey towards positive change. You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone—healing can begin here. Together, we will work to uncover your strengths and create a path toward authentic and lasting healing.
